Why We Built Effortless Visa
We’re Emma and Joel, and we know what it feels like to build a future together while also trying to navigate the K-1 process.
We went through the fiancé visa process ourselves, completed the paperwork, managed the waiting and uncertainty, and got married in 2017. Emma became a U.S. citizen in 2021.
Effortless Visa was created because the process should not feel harder than it already is. The forms use technical language, information is repeated across documents, and it can be difficult to know whether everything has been completed and assembled correctly.
We wanted to create the kind of tool we would have appreciated during our own journey: one that asks clear questions, explains what information is needed, and turns the answers into an organized filing packet.
